Do you move furniture or provide a removals/transport service?
No — I don't drive a van, transport belongings, or pack boxes for the move itself. My role is decluttering before you move and unpacking and organising after — you'd arrange packing and transport separately, for example with a removals company.
What exactly do you help with before the move?
Decluttering. I go through your belongings room by room before your move so you're only keeping — and only moving — what you actually want, need and use. I don't pack the boxes myself.
How far in advance should I book a pre-move decluttering session?
As soon as you have a moving date, ideally 2–3 weeks ahead, so there's time to declutter before you start packing — it's much easier to pack, move and unpack fewer things.
Do you help me decide what to keep, donate or discard?
Yes — that's the core of the pre-move session. I'll help you make quick, confident decisions on what to keep, donate, sell or bin, so you're not paying to move or unpack things you don't need.
How long does unpacking a house take?
A one-bedroom flat is typically a day; a family house is usually split across several sessions. You'll get an honest time estimate after a free video consultation.
How much does a house move decluttering/unpacking service cost?
